KUALA LUMPUR – A total of 412 walk-in vaccination centres have been added to the the PICKids’ programme for the inoculation of those aged between 5 to 11.
Deputy Health Minister Datuk Dr Noor Azmi Ghazali announced this as a move to tap into the month long school holidays that began on Feb 26 and ends on March 20.
He said this was to supplement the walk in vaccination centres that began operating in the Klang Valley on March 1 included the WTC, Axiata, IDCC and Soka Gakkai vaccination centres.
“If the quota for daily vaccinations run out, parents can choose to return to the centre the next day or they can also opt to book their children’s slots via MySejahtera.”
Parents who registered their children via MySejahtera would receive links of available slots.

A total 904,368 or 25.5 per cent of the 3.6 million children aged 5 to 11 have received one dose of the vaccine as of March 1. The PICKids programme began on February 3.
