KUALA LUMPUR – The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) will be giving a three-month loan repayment deferment to its borrowers that affected by the floods without need to produced supporting documents.
In a statement today, it said that the borrowers who was affected by floods can apply for the loan deferment from tomorrow to March 31 next year.
The application can made via its official website at ‘www.ptptn.gov.my/PenangguhanBayaranBalikBanjir’ connect or at any of its branches in the country.
“The three-month loan repayment deferment for flood victims will come into effect the same month their application is approved and for the next two consecutive months.
“Deferment approval will be notified to the borrower via e-mail within three working days from the date the borrower submits the application.
It said today, “therefore, borrowers are reminded to update accurate and latest contact information to ensure that the approval information of the deferment application can be communicated to them.”
Last Week, Higher Education Minister Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad announced that PTPTN borrowers affected by floods will be offering the three-month loan repayment deferment by PTPTN.
