At the heart of it, Malaysians are a caring lot.
This was evident today following an accident in front of the Kiara Residence at Bukit OUG.
At about noon today, passersby came to the aid of an accident victim who was found lying in the middle of the road under the hot mid-day sun.
He was not moved for fear of aggravating his injuries.
While waiting for the ambulance, passersby stood over him with umbrellas shading him from the sun, while another helped to direct traffic.
For over 20 minutes, they stayed with the victim, shading and comforting him under the blazing hot sun.
“Reaffirms one’s faith in the humanity of Malaysians. Thanks to those who helped,” said a passerby.
